Press-down Thrust Tapered Roller Bearings:

This type of thrust tapered roller bearing must be able to withstand extremely high axial loads and allow angular displacement of the threaded shaft relative to the support. Therefore, these bearings are typically full roll bearings with large-diameter and extra-long rollers. To withstand misalignment of the roll bearing housing without adversely affecting bearing performance, this type of bearing has a spherical race. This race can be a shaft race or a housing race.

In bearings with a spherical shaft race on the roller assembly between the spherical shaft race and the corresponding concave spherical threaded shaft or pressure baffle, necessary misalignment will occur. WJZW can also supply the aforementioned pressure baffles.

When the housing race is spherical, the misalignment is borne by the roller assembly between the housing race and the pressure baffle. The pressure baffle for this type of bearing is usually supplied with the bearing.
